This show is very famous in America.

Top Chef is an American reality contest or competition show that is shown on the cable television network Bravo. In this show, the chefs participate and compete against each other in weekly challenges. They are monitored and judged by a team or panel or board of professional and expert chefs and other notables and famous celebrities from the food and wine industry with one or more participants eliminated each week from the competition. The winning chef or the winner of the competition receives $100,000 US dollars as winning prize money to cheer and encourage his or her cooking career and gives the winner an option to secure the future.

Its show featured the Food and Wine Classic in Aspen, Colorado. The winner was also awarded and honored a suite of Sears Kenmore kitchen appliances in Seasons One and Two, and the Kenmore product was greatly featured on the show in those seasons. Sears had been a series supporter since Season One, along with Calphalon and Toyota. Then Top Chef started using GE appliances products in Season Three. Glad started financing the $100,000 US dollars award money in Season Two. Season Three started airing in June 2007. In July 2007, making and production started on Season Four.
